Christos has studied contemporary piano music with Pierre-Laurent Aimard at the Hochschule für Tanz und Musik Köln and with Ralph van Raat at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. In June 2016 he participated and performed at the masterclasses dedicated to the Catalogue d’Oiseaux by Messiaen, taught by Aimard at the Britten-Pears Young Artist Programme at Snape Maltings (Aldeburgh). In October 2015 he participated at the Piano Academy Pierre-Laurent Aimard / Tamara Stefanovich in Munich (program ‘Musica Viva des Bayerischen Runfunks’) dedicated to the Klavierstücke by Stockhausen. Christos has also studied with Willem Brons at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and received lessons and masterclasses by Richard Egarr, Robert Levin and Håkon Austbø.
Christos has played at the closing concert of the Gaudeamus Festival 2017 with Insomnio Ensemble under Ulrich Pröhl. He has played together with Ralph van Raat in De Doelen Rotterdam (series ‘Red Sofa’) in 2015 and 2018. Christos has given also solo concerts of contemporary music in Orgelpark (2015 and 2016) and at the NedPhO-Koepel in the finals of Gracthenfestival Concours 2016. Christos received the Frans Schreuder Prize 2016 for his research.
